PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL SUMMARY

I am a former Sergeant is the Marine Corps trained in leadership principles and I am a team player. Prior to the Marine Corps I worked in the construction industry working on several sites framing houses, installing drywall, electrical & plumbing. After my discharge17 years ago, I started as a ground man and then lineman in the telecommunications industry. I quickly moved my way into underground construction, fiber splicing and eventually inside plant structured cabling. I became a project manager because I have the desire and knowledge to complete the tasks at hand. Within the last 7 years I have designed fiber & data upgrades for military bases, new fiber construction on an industrial plant environment and built DAS & small cell sites for various service providers. I have numerous certificates for all aspects of telecommunications including several for OSHA. I am an OSP and ISP (structured cabling) specialist. I can perform the role of manager, fiber design engineer or technician. I am currently studying to become an RCDD thru BICSI. I have managed projects in 45 states, a dozen military bases and government buildings, commercial, residential and industrial construction and countless schools and universities. I have no problem traveling. I currently hold a TWIC card with the Department of Homeland Security. In between projects I help small companies with design, estimating & best practices as the Owner/President of DCR Consulting. In my personal life I devote time at my daughter’s school, church and the local humane society. I enjoy traveling, watching sports and spending time with my family.
