SOFTWARE CORP 06/13 to 11/13 Project
Manager This
was a contract position with Arizona Cox Communications to provide numerous
fiber optic ring networks & small cell sites for Verizon wireless
thru-out Phoenix, Tucson & Las Vegas. I managed site walks at each cell
site to determine cable entrance locations and I conducted weekly project
status meetings. I worked with the design, engineer, construction &
project management teams to insure that the project was on track. I also did
BAU work in Granite & Oracle. RHO
CONSULTING 01/12 to 06/13 Fiber
Designer This
was a remote work from home contract position with BASF the chemical company
in NJ. My duty was to travel to all 125 North American plants to design &
manage the VoIP fiber upgrade project. Prior to entering each site I had to
complete safety training with an emphasis on chemical safety. After each site
walk, I would design the site plan using MS Visio, write the SOW, site
budget, BOM and work with procurement to put it out to bid. Once awarded, I
would manage the project. I had the ability to negotiate price and approve
change orders and modify design specifications. I conducted all weekly
project meetings. Once completed I would do a final walk through & take
possession of deliverables. This was a $10M project funded by BASF. This was
an industrial plant environment that included ISP DAS installation,
underground & aerial construction, ISP cabling and equipment installation

Designer/Project Manager As
the Fiber Designer & Project Manager I supervised 20 technicians and 4
sub-contractors day-to-day activities of a $10M cable upgrade and new
electronics install at Picatinny Arsenal Army Base in New Jersey. This was
the I3MP VoIP upgrade project that consisted of new and existing
infrastructure, new pole and manhole placement, trenching, aerial and
underground fiber optic cable placement and the design and construction of 4
new MDF Hub’s. Other duties included fiber design, inside plant fiber optic
design and placement, new Sprint DAS network installation, new conduit design
& placement for pathways, approving change orders, managing daily safety
meetings, weekly project meetings and weekly training meetings, managing
accurate running asbuilts, managing P&L statements, approving timesheets

the Manager I supervised 35 technicians & 3 sub-contractors day-to-day
activities of a $10M, 100 mile DAS network with 95 nodes from Flint to
Saginaw, Michigan on the Metro PCS project. The project consisted of
re-engineering existing AT&T structure for customer use, placing new
inner duct in existing structure, placing new conduit via street trench,
installing strand, performing make ready, replacing arms and anchors,
transferring existing utilities, placement and termination of fiber cable and
the design & construction of 3 new Hubs. Other duties included managing
daily safety meetings and weekly project meetings, approving time sheets,
managing P&L statements, approving change orders, managing accurate
running asbuilts, outlining traffic plans, obtaining ROW permits and close
out packages. This project consisted of many freeway & railroad

the Manager I supervised 15 technicians and 2 sub-contractor’s day-to-day
construction of a $7M, 45 mile DAS network with 40 nodes in Bloomington,
Indiana for the Metro PCS project. The project consisted of placing new inner
duct in existing structure, placing new conduit via street trench, installing
strand, performing make ready, replacing arms and anchors, transferring
existing utilities, placement and termination of fiber cable and the design
& construction of 2 new Hubs. Some of the existing utility poles needed
for this project were located on Indiana University. I had to keep the school
apprise of our progress. Other duties included the design and construction of
one new Hub, managing daily safety meetings, managing accurate running
asbuilts, approving timesheets, approving change orders, managing weekly
project meetings, outlining traffic plans, obtaining ROW permits and close out
packages. This project consisted of many freeway & railroad crossings and

the Manager I supervised 25 technicians day-to-day construction of an $18M,
35 mile FTTP Sunesys project for the San Jose School District in California.
The project consisted of placing new inner duct in existing structure,
placing new conduit via street trench, installing strand, performing make
ready, replacing arms and anchors, transferring existing utilities and the
placement and termination of fiber cable from the school districts’ MDF to 48
different schools via aerial and underground construction. Other duties
included fiber design & splicing, installing new structured cabling
within the schools, managing daily safety meetings, approving change orders,
managing weekly project meetings, approving time sheets, outlining traffic
plans, obtaining ROW permits and close out packages. This project consisted
